Job description

Salary: £19,200 per annum(Full Time Equivalent£32,000 per annum)

Contract: 12 month fixed term contract / Part-time (21 hours)

We're seeking a highly organised and proactive Events Coordinator on a part-time basis to join our dynamic Events Team and help us put pharmacy at the forefront of patient care!

As an Events Coordinator, you will be instrumental in supporting the coordination of our busy events programme, gaining vast and demonstrable experience across a significant portfolio of events. Focused on behind the scenes administrative and logistical coordination, the ideal candidate favours a process-driven approach, can work effectively under pressure and has exceptional attention to detail and customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience managing multiple events and/or administrative projects simultaneously (ideally 3+years) (essential).
  • Proven ability to deliver to agreed deadlines (essential).
  • Process-driven with strong administration skills (essential).
  • Excellent communicator and able to liaise confidently with members and colleagues at all levels in both verbal and written communication (essential).
  • Quick thinking, proactive and calm under pressure (essential).
  • Exceptional attention to detail (essential).
  • Ability to manage workload, identifying priorities and time management concerns (essential).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) (essential).
  • Experience in an event environment (desirable).
  • Experience using event management software (desirable).

How we are currently working

RPS supports and works in a hybrid way, which means you will be able to work from home, however, there will be an expectation for collaborative face-to-face working – on average and typically this may be something between 4-8 working days per month at our London Office. For this role, we expect a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
