Job summary

Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join our team and manage all elements of external event planning. The role is based at our Salford head office with travel for events as required, and supports CPC's mission to promote procurement excellence across education and other sectors.

You will bring at least two years of event planning experience, strong negotiation and budgeting skills, and advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Excel.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in coordinating and planning events in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working with colleagues in graphic design, sales, marketing, and communications.
  • Experienced in the coordination and administration of live events.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing budgets and tracking expenses.
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Acrobat, and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all elements of CPC's external event planning and management.
  • Promote CPC's work to the education sector and beyond.
  • Use event insights to evolve CPC's event offerings and drive internal improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Communications Team on diverse projects across the business.

What's the role?

The role is offered as full-time position.

The role is a hybrid role, predominantly based at our head office in Salford, but will require some travel for events as required.

We are looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to manage and oversee all elements of CPC's external event planning and management. This role will put you right at the forefront of promoting the work of CPC to the education sector and beyond as well as using your skills to support various internal projects. You will bring event insights and internal improvements to evolve our event offerings and will have at least two years of event planning experience and a long history of coordinating successful events.

As part of the Communications Team, you will be an affective ambassador for our brand and will have the opportunity to get involved in a variety of exciting projects across different areas of our business.

  • Salary of up to £28,450 FTE per annum depending on experience.
  • Generous yearly discretionary bonus following successful probation.
  • Remote working with visits to clients onsite when required.
