Aquent is seeking an Events Brand Marketing Manager to oversee large-scale marketing campaigns for EU Live Event & Sports properties. The successful candidate will be skilled in managing cross-functional teams, executing impactful marketing strategies, and utilizing data metrics to drive campaign effectiveness in a dynamic environment.
Our client islooking for an entertainment fanatic with significant experience in developing best-in-class marketing for major brands (either agency or client-side). This role involves planning, producing, and executing large-scale marketing campaigns alongside cross-functional teams. You will negotiate with key business partners and global teams to gain alignment on marketing plans, and ultimately manage all aspects of project execution for client’sEU Live Event & Sports properties.
End-to-end campaign strategy and planning for EU Live Event & Sports properties
Development and delivery of marketing assets across ATL and BTL
Stakeholder management, including working with internal teams such as Operations, Insights, PR, and Legal to identify and prioritise needs
Collaboration with external agencies (Production, Creative, Media Partners) to produce impactful marketing assets for Live Event & Sports launches
Serve as the point of contact for specific marketing partnerships and integrations
Manage blockers, provide escalation support, anticipate and make trade-offs, and ensure committed deadlines are met
End-to-end campaign management for sport or live event properties
Day-to-day activities can vary significantly, ranging from campaign strategy and creative development to liaising with talent and overseeing delivery
Act as the connector between marketing leadership, the business, broadcast production, and PR teams
Involve strategic thinking, strong writing skills, campaign data tracking, and creative ideation to drive engagement and conversation
The nature of live events means the role is often reactive – dealing with late confirmations, injuries, and other dynamic factors
Campaigns may include ATL or focus primarily on owned and operated (O&O) channels
Looking for someone highly motivated, adaptable, and positive, with a strong ability to pivot throughout seasonal changes
Experience in building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programmes
Proficient in using data and metrics to measure campaign impact and identify improvements
Background in marketing or marketing research
Experience managing budgets
Proven experience executing campaigns across multiple time zones and languages
Strong use of customer research, data, and metrics to support decisions, build forecasts, and assess marketing effectiveness
Knowledge of marketing strategies for digital and mobile platforms
Marketing Experience – ideally within entertainment or sports
Campaign Delivery – experience in writing briefs, developing strategy, working with agencies/creative partners; strong strategic thinking required
Cross-Channel Team Collaboration – a people person who can organise, motivate, and align teams on creative and strategic execution; detail-oriented with good judgement on escalation
