Organization: Membership Body

Location: London Victoria/Westminster – Office based with flexible working (travel to events throughout the year)

Salary and Benefits: Basic salary between £28,000-£30,000 depending on experience, plus excellent benefits including 30 days annual leave, pension, private medical insurance, gym access, cycle to work scheme, free flu jab, and eye test.

Job Description

Our client, a professional membership body based in Southwest London, is seeking an Events and Administration Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Business Services, the successful candidate will primarily manage the organisation of the regulation team’s calendar of in-person and online events. Responsibilities include preparing meeting materials, drafting invitations, sourcing venues, liaising with stakeholders such as medical royal colleges and regulators, and supporting wider administrative functions.

  • Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with members and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a proven track record in administrative roles
  • Collaborative yet capable of leading when necessary
  • Genuine interest in healthcare and making a meaningful contribution
  • Committed to professional development and continuous improvement
Knowledge and Experience
  • Proven administrative experience
  • Familiarity with event technology (registration apps, webinar platforms, AV equipment, hybrid/virtual formats)
  • Efficient at managing multiple priorities and diary coordination
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Experience with social media channels (X, LinkedIn), HubSpot, Canva, Flourish
  • Experience in healthcare or membership organisations preferred
