Job summary

Berkeley Scott is seeking an Event Steward to deliver professional customer service at various venues and events. You will welcome guests, verify entry credentials, direct visitors, monitor crowds and support safety procedures throughout each event.

Work as part of a team to maintain a professional and approachable presence, assist with setup and shutdown, and respond quickly to inquiries or incidents while upholding venue health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide friendly customer service at events.
• Check tickets, passes and credentials for entry.
• Direct visitors to seating areas and facilities.
• Monitor entrances, queues and crowd flow to ensure safety.
• Assist with crowd management and maintaining a safe environment.
• Report incidents or hazards to supervisors and follow procedures.
• Support event set-up, operation and close-down as required.
