Job summary

Pertemps Solihull is seeking reliable Event Labourers in Birmingham to support setup and breakdown for events on an ad hoc, temporary basis. The role involves unloading vans and arranging furniture, with early and late shifts available and walking/standing for long periods.

You'll be physically active, work as part of a team, and follow supervisor directions to ensure a safe, tidy site. Pay is £12.71 per hour, with shifts offered according to event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Offloading furniture and equipment from vans.
• Setting up benches, tables, chairs and other furniture.
• Moving and positioning furniture around event venues.
• Manual lifting and carrying of furniture and equipment.
• Assisting with event setup and breakdown.
• Walking between different areas of event sites and being on your feet for extended periods.
• Following instructions from supervisors and working as part of a team.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
