Class 1 Personnel is recruiting an Event Assistant in Chesterfield to support an events team across various venues. You will report to the Event Manager and thrive in a busy, team-based setting, assisting with planning, setup and wrap-up. The role suits someone with prior event experience or strong potential and a can-do attitude.

Salary is up to £13 per hour, with 7/8 hour shifts and paid holidays. Immediate start available, with opportunities to grow within the events function.

Qualifications

• Experience in the field is preferred.
• Good literacy, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure in team environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, organisational and logistical support to an event planner/coordinator.
• Assist with creative decisions for events.
• Help set up and dismantle events efficiently from start to finish.
