Job summary

DNA Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking qualified Class 1 (C+E) drivers for exciting events work based primarily from Birmingham, covering venues across the UK. The role involves transporting trailers, movements between sites, and potential night-out stays with shifts seven days a week.

Drivers must hold a valid Class 1 licence, Driver CPC, and digital tachograph card, with previous Class 1 experience preferred.

• Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 7 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Drive trailers to and from events across the UK.
• Carry out trailer movements between event site and secure parking.
• Perform regular trailer drops, swaps and collections.
• Work mainly from Birmingham with UK-wide events.
• Night-out work is possible.

CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER - EVENTS WORK | BIRMINGHAM

DNA Recruitment Solutions Ltd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for exciting and varied events work based primarily from Birmingham, with events taking place across the UK.

THE ROLE

• Main base: Birmingham
• Events work covering venues across the UK
• Variety of shifts available across 7 days a week
• Transporting trailers loaded with event equipment to and from events
• Once at the event, carrying out trailer movements between the event site and secure parking
• Regular trailer drops, collections and swaps
• No handball involved
• Some work will require nights out
• Minimum 12 hours paid for every shift

This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy variety and don't want to be doing the same run every day.

PAY RATES - PAYE ONLY

• Monday to Friday
• £17.00 per hour
• £19.05 per hour including holiday pay
• Saturday
• £18.00 per hour
• £20.17 per hour including holiday pay
• Sunday
• £19.00 per hour
• £21.29 per hour including holiday pay

NIGHTS OUT

• £35 tax-free night-out allowance
• Parking costs paid

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Confident carrying out trailer drops, swaps and movements
• Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 7 days a week
• Willingness to travel and work UK-wide events
