We are Controlled Space, a specialist in venue and event security, recognised for our commitment to excellence in crowd management and safety.
As we prepare for a busy event schedule, we are looking to expand our team of Event SIA Door Supervisors in Leeds. Opportunities are available at various locations, including Brudenell Social Club, The Wardrobe, the newly established Project House and many other venues around the Yorkshire Region.
Whether you seek extensive work or prefer a limited number of shifts, our casual contract provides the flexibility to determine your working frequency.
Given the demands of the events industry, availability during weekends and evenings is crucial.

Requirements

Duties And Responsibilities of a Controlled Space employee

• Ability to work in a team or individually
• To provide a high standard of customer care
• Carry out pre-event checks of venues
• To ensure an even flow of people entering the venue/event at all times
• To monitor crowds for signs of overcrowding and difficulties in busy areas
• Make yourself aware of on-site facilities and be ready for questions from members of the public
• Be ready to investigate any disturbances or incidents
• To respond to emergencies – by raising the alarm and providing necessary and appropriate immediate help and assisting the emergency services as required
• Ensure health and safety guidelines and regulations are adhered to by all stakeholders including but not limited to Controlled Space employees, customers, and venue staff
