London Stadium is seeking Event Practitioners to join our medical team on an event-by-event basis. Successful candidates will deliver care at major events and work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure safety and well-being. This role is ideal for flexible professionals eager to support operations in a dynamic environment, with a commitment to continuous professional development.
Rate: £35 per hour, plus holiday pay for Event Practitioner / Paramedic
£50 per hour, plus holiday pay for Advanced Nurse Practitioner / Junior Doctor / Advanced Clinical Practitioners
TERMS: Non-guaranteed hours on an event by event basis
London Stadium currently has an effective event day medical operation. We are now seeking to re organise the way we deliver our medical services but still in line with the 6th edition of the Green Guide and our Safety Certificates.
The appropriate staff for each event will be selected by the London Stadium Medical Coordinator at least three weeks before each event.
We are very interested in assessing applications from both existing staff and new entrants. Those appointed will be on PAYE event day workers contracts.

Event Practitioner
Key Responsibilities
As an Event Practitioner at London Stadium, you’ll be part of the on-site medical team delivering care across a wide variety of events, including football, concerts, athletics, and other large-scale gatherings. Whether you’re a Nurse, Paramedic, or Junior/Resident Doctor, your role will involve the assessment and treatment of patients in line with your clinical scope of practice, supporting the safety and wellbeing of everyone on site. You will work closely with colleagues from other medical services and agencies to provide a coordinated response to incidents, often in a busy and fast-moving environment.
We expect all Event Practitioners to demonstrate good clinical judgement, strong teamwork, and clear communication. You should also be committed to maintaining and developing your clinical skills, and willing to take part in relevant training and CPD activities offered. This role is ideal for clinicians who are adaptable, calm under pressure, and motivated to contribute to a safe and effective medical response at high-profile events.

Additional Information About The Role
All applicants must be over 18 years of age.
Successful candidates must commit to working 80% of the events at London Stadium. We would ask you to commit to any additional training required such as customer service and online event specific inductions.
This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service record check if you do not hold a SIA licence.
