St. James's Place seeks an Event Operations Specialist to drive planning, coordination and delivery of the events portfolio. You will work with the Events Team to maintain processes, documentation and systems across all events, while managing suppliers, budgets and logistics for successful delegate experiences.
You will report to the Event Operations Manager and may travel to supporting events. The role emphasizes operational excellence, governance and compliance with regulatory standards.

The Event Operations Specialist plays a key role within the SJP Events Team, supporting the effective planning, coordination and delivery of the events portfolio. The role ensures operational excellence by maintaining consistent processes, documentation and systems across all events, and by supporting the management of suppliers, budgets and logistical requirements.
Reporting to, and working closely with the Event Operations Manager, the role helps ensure that each event is delivered efficiently, safely and in line with SJP’s objectives, regulatory standards and commitment to delivering high quality delegate experiences.
This role can be based in any of our office locations, and will require travel where necessary to support events.
You'll bring previous experience of events operations, along with strong organisation and communication skills. Comfortable working within established frameworks and governance requirements, you will have a methodical approach to managing budgets, suppliers, contracts, risk documentation and event logistics. You'll have experience working with event registration and delegate management platforms, such as Cvent, and be confident using technology to support seamless event delivery and delegate experiences. Experience with comparable event management systems will also be considered.
