The Chancery Rosewood in Mayfair is seeking an Event Operations Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of weddings, conferences, and private celebrations, reporting to the Director of Event Operations. You will collaborate with Sales, Groups & Events, Food & Beverage, and Culinary teams to ensure guests receive personalised, discreet service, while overseeing event setup, service, and breakdown.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of meetings, conferences, banquets, weddings, and special events, ensuring every detail is executed to the highest standard.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Groups & Events, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and other operational departments to create seamless guest experiences.
• Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring all spaces are impeccably prepared and in line with brand standards.
• Act as the primary point of contact for event hosts and VIP guests during events, anticipating needs and providing personalised, discreet service.
• Conduct pre-event and pre-shift briefings, ensuring teams are fully aligned on event requirements, service expectations, and operational priorities.
• Lead and motivate event service teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
• Attend and contribute to Banquet Event Order (BEO) meetings, ensuring clear communication and flawless execution across departments.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives while maintaining exceptional service standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and key stakeholders to support successful event delivery.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
