Job summary

The Excel in London is seeking an Assistant Logistics Manager to lead the venue's logistics for events. The role reports to the Logistics Manager and ensures delivery, setup, and breakdown are completed on time, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in logistics management within hospitality or events.
• Proven ability to lead teams in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Run the logistics operation for all C&E functions within the venue.
• Coordinate set up & break down, and meet deadlines.
• Report to the Logistics Manager and Head of Logistics, supporting improvements.
• Build back of house with coffee machines, chilling rooms and kitchen facilities.
• Deliver picklists, liaise with operations, report shortages and offer alternatives.
• Manage storage and stock counting of logistics equipment.
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers and contractors to ensure service delivery.
• Ensure storage, transport and usage comply with HSE standards.
• Own health and safety policy delivery across your remit.
• Uphold health & safety principles across the team and back-of-house areas.
