Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting multiple Warehouse Technicians for a hands-on role in Basingstoke (Daneshill area) within an event lighting and rigging brand. You’ll clean, programme and test lights for events, with Monday–Friday 09:00–18:00 and weekly pay.

The position offers potential for a permanent contract and regular overtime at a 1.5x rate. Ideal candidates are physically capable, able to perform heavy lifting, stand for long periods, and maintain meticulous testing records.

Qualifications

• Physical role requiring manual tasks throughout the shift.
• Heavy lifting involved; comfortable handling heavier items.
• Standing for long periods during the shift.
• Attention to detail in testing lights and logging outputs.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning event lights of varying size and weight.
• Programming and setting lights to client specifications.
• Testing lights and fixtures prior to distribution.
• PAT testing – full training provided.
• Moving heavy cases and hanging lights; visual and physical tests.
• Loading and unloading equipment as required.
