Job summary

Boels Rental Germany GmbH is seeking a reliable Driver/Fitter to join our events team in the UK. You will transport, install and dismantle lighting equipment at diverse venues, ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a valid driving licence, hands-on installation skills, and the ability to work flexible hours and travel regionally. You will collaborate with the production team and support warehouse duties.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and clean driving record.
• Hands-on experience in repairing and installing lighting equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Load, transport, and unload lighting equipment and materials to and from venues.
• Assemble and dismantle event lighting setups and on-site repairs.
• Ensure all equipment is fitted securely and safely according to event plans and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-event checks on lights, vehicles, and materials.
• Drive company vehicles (vans/lorries) to event locations locally or regionally.
• Work closely with the event production team to ensure installations meet quality and design standards.
• Assist in warehouse duties, including maintaining tools and equipment.
• Follow health & safety procedures at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service when liaising with clients on-site.
