Job summary

Tearfund is seeking an Events Executive to run and grow Tearfund's events within the Partnerships team, helping to engage UK funders and support Tearfund’s mission to lift people out of poverty. This hybrid role requires confident relationship-building, strong organisation and a proactive, self-motivated approach. It involves working from the Teddington office and from home by agreement.

Contract: part-time 17.5 hours/week. Salary: £23,445 per annum (part-time).

Events Executive - Partnerships

We're at an exciting stage at Tearfund, as we reach out to a range of UK Key Investors seeking to secure larger gifts to enable Tearfund to help more people who are living in poverty. We have the privilege of working with a wide range of funders, as well as Tearfund's field staff, technical experts and leadership team. We enableindividualdonors to connectwiththe issues they are passionate about and tochallenge the injustices they see. We do that through personal connection and a key way to facilitate this is through our excellent events.

We are looking for a passionate Events Executive to run and manage Tearfund's Events within the Partnerships team and to take them to the next level!

Goodrelationshipsare key to this role -bothinternallyandexternally- so buildingconnectionsin both spheres is key to this role.

Hybrid Working: This role is eligible for hybrid working and you will be required to work from our Teddington Tearfund office and from your home by agreement with the line manager.

Contract: This is a part time role working 2.5 days (17.5 hours) per week. The full time salary is £46,890 per annum and the part time is salary is £23,445 per annum.
