Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence, Government, and Energy services through ESS seeks a Facilities Supervisor for a part-time 32.5-hour week. The role covers evenings and requires supervising frontline teams, ensuring deliveries are checked, and maintaining Food Handling & Hygiene and Health & Safety standards.

You will manage rotas, stock ordering, and weekly bookwork, while fostering a positive team environment and providing strong customer service in a Defence context.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as required.
• Producing weekly rotas following the manager's guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct stock levels.
• Delegating where necessary and ensuring the team are proactive at all times.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations.
• Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment
• Good communication skills with a focus on great Customer Service
• Team player and can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude
