No Limits is seeking a Youth Worker in the Safe Haven Team to support 11–17-year-olds in North Hampshire. You will provide out-of-hours emotional and practical support through 1-2-1 sessions and open access drop-ins, in a team of three staff. Travel to locations for outreach and events may be required.

Role involves safeguarding, information and advice to families, and collaboration with ED and community partners to coordinate ongoing support. Commitment to DEI and youth wellbeing is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification, or equivalent experience, in youth work, social work, mental health or similar.
• Experience of providing mental, emotional, health and wellbeing support, information and advice to individuals in a self-defined crisis.
• Knowledge of mental health issues and support, including common conditions and crisis interventions.
• Knowledge and experience of developing and maintaining contacts with external agencies and organisations.
• Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate quality youth work in physical and virtual spaces with a mental health focus.
• Deliver open access drop-ins and 1-2-1 sessions within a team.
• Provide information and advice to parents, carers and partner services.
• Respond to crises and provide practical support with safeguarding.
• Coordinate with ED and Social Prescribing Youth Workers for post-crisis support.
• Address wider issues affecting mental health using YIACS model.
