Job summary

Städar - Cleaning is seeking an Evening Workshop Cleaner to keep our workshop spaces pristine and welcoming. You will work Monday to Friday, 6:30pm to 8:30pm, for two hours each evening at our Nottingham site.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors and benches, using a scrubber dryer with full training provided, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping supplies stocked while following health and safety protocols. Candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying areas needing extra care.
• Good physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and move equipment as needed.
• Reliable and punctual, committed to adhering to the scheduled working hours from Monday to Friday.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of workshop areas, including floors, workbenches, and equipment
• Use a scrubber dryer machine to clean the workshop floor areas (full training provided and no previous experience reuired)
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and communal spaces to uphold hygiene standards
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock needs replenishing
• Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or contamination
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning activities
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within the scheduled two-hour window each evening
