Job summary

South Lanarkshire Council is seeking a part-time janitor for various locations across the South Lanarkshire area. The role covers 19 hours per week on a term-time basis, with a pattern of 5 days over 7, including evenings and weekends.

An hourly rate of £14.12–£14.27 is offered, with two permanent posts available. The postholder will prepare documentation for the janitorial and cleaning function, keep grounds safe, monitor lessee and contractor activities, and liaise with external parties to

Responsibilities

• Preparing documentation relating to janitorial and cleaning function.
• Ensuring grounds are kept safe and tidy and free from dangerous articles.
• Monitoring lessee's and contractors activities and reporting issues to line manager.
• Logging, monitoring and reporting damage/faults to fabric and fixtures.
• Liaising with external contractors and lessees ensuring health, safety and security procedures.
