Job summary

Co-op Group in the United Kingdom is hiring Customer Team Members for a part-time role with shifts from 4pm to 10pm and occasional weekends. The position offers a permanent contract with 8 hours per week plus regular overtime, and training is provided.

You will be part of a friendly store team, delivering essential customer service, stocking shelves, handling tills, and supporting online order services where applicable.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store by delivering friendly and thoughtful service, helping to put things right when needed
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly
• Work hands-on on the shop floor and tills, and contribute to daily operations to create a great shopping experience
• Help maintain store performance by keeping shelves stocked and checking prices, dates, and stock accuracy
• Make sure the store safe and legal - keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be
• Promote Co-op Membership and support your local community
