Job summary

Starting Point Children's Services at Derbyshire County Council is seeking a Community Care Worker for County Hall, Matlock. This part-time role involves supporting social workers, carrying out welfare checks, and helping with needs assessments and safeguarding plans.

You will work with families and partner agencies, contribute to reports, and help deliver timely interventions while maintaining high professional standards and flexibility to cover evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, young people or families in social care, education, health care or community settings.
• Excellent communication skills across teams and with families.
