Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare, Inc. is seeking Care Assistants to work in and around Sheffield, focusing on evenings and weekends in a flexible schedule. You will provide compassionate support, assist with daily living activities, and help customers live safely at home.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence is required or you must have access to a vehicle.
• You should have the Right to Work in the UK.
• Demonstrate kindness, reliability and a genuine desire to help others.
• No prior care experience required, willingness to learn and grow in a caring role.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, respectful support that makes customers feel truly cared for.
