Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant for evening and weekend shifts in Highbury. You’ll provide companionship, assist with personal care, mobility, and daily tasks, and support customers to live safely at home. No prior care experience is required; we value kindness, reliability and a genuine wish to help others.

Training and support are provided to help you thrive in a flexible role. The role offers competitive pay (£15.90 per hour) with opportunities for development and a supportive team

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.
• No prior care experience needed, kindness and reliability are key.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm companionship to customers in their homes.
• Assist with personal care, including washing and dressing.
• Support mobility to help customers stay safe and independent.
• Oversee and administer medication per care plans.
• Help with cooking, cleaning and daily tasks.
• Run essential errands like shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, compassionate support to ensure clients feel cared for.
