Job summary

Reed in Erith is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead a busy team and drive operations in a fast-paced environment. The role supervises up to 30 operatives, ensuring picking, packing and dispatch targets are met, while maintaining safety and performance standards.

You will report to the Warehouse Manager and optimise workflow using WMS, with a hands-on, coaching leadership style and flexibility for occasional shift adjustments.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in a warehouse, picking and packing or distribution.
• Experience leading teams of 10+ employees.
• Strong people management and supervisory skills.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on, approachable leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse operatives.
• Ensure daily picking, packing and dispatch targets are met.
• Monitor productivity, accuracy and performance.
• Conduct staff briefings, coaching sessions and reviews.
• Support employee engagement and positive culture.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Utilise WMS to manage workflow and performance.
• Collaborate with management to ensure continuity and efficiency.
