Job summary

GXO Logistics in Leyland is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead and develop warehouse teams supporting Waitrose. You will drive safety, continuous improvement, and ensure tools and processes enable on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

This full-time, permanent role operates on an 14:00–22:00 shift pattern, with a comprehensive benefits package and pension. Strong leadership and cost-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

Experience supervising a large team in a fast-paced warehouse.
Ability to coordinate across departments and meet contractual obligations.
Experience reporting KPI and financial information.
Understanding of cost drivers and budget management.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate the work activities across departments of warehouse colleagues, ensuring a customer-focused approach.
Coordinate customer requirements, ensuring procedural conformance and satisfaction.
Carry out timely reporting of performance KPI and financial information, identifying trends.
Ensure operation meets budgeted targets for export with cost drivers and P&L management.
