Job summary

Abbey Personnel Services Ltd on behalf of its client in the United Kingdom is recruiting for a warehouse operative to support the Christmas peak. You will work late shifts from 4 pm to Midnight, Monday to Friday, in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, returns processing, stock handling and completing despatch documentation. Training will be provided; basic computer skills are required; previous warehouse experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Good basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick and check client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Assist with the packing of client orders as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders.
• Check and pack client orders in a professional and accurate manner within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Assist with the picking of client orders as instructed by the warehouse production team leaders.
• Process client returns accurately and efficiently as per client instructions within pre-agreed Service Level Agreements.
• Ensure the safe handling and custody of client stock, reporting any damaged stock.
• Complete despatch documentation where required.
• Report discrepancies in stock levels to the warehouse production team leaders.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse and follow health and safety guidelines.
• Carry out other duties as instructed by the Warehouse Manager.
