Activate Accident Repair Birmingham is hiring a Panel Beater for our evening shift. Join a growing UK group with 1,000+ staff and a strong training culture. The role involves bodywork, panel fitting, and delivering high-quality repairs for accident-damaged vehicles.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 required or equivalent.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Good health and safety awareness is necessary.
• Proven time management and ability to work to deadlines.
• Relevant industry experience as a repair technician.

Responsibilities

• Complete bodywork, including stripping and refitting trim and panels.
• Refit panels and repair dents and bodywork on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Repair panels to pre-accident condition per approved methods and standards.
• Operate specialist repair equipment and measuring tools.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety standards before handover or document faults.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Completing all bodywork, including stripping and refitting trim and panel interior
• Refitting new and repaired panels, and repairing small dents and minor bodywork on accident-damaged vehicles
• Repairing panel damage to pre-accident condition in line with approved repair methodology and manufacturer standards
• Using specialist body repair equipment, including measuring equipment, body jigs, welding equipment and SMART repair tools
• Making sure vehicles meet safety standards before they're returned to customers, or reporting and noting any faults on the job card
