Job summary

ACTIVATE GROUP LIMITED is recruiting an Evening Shift MET Technician for our Tunbridge Wells bodyshop. You will dismantle and reassemble accident-damaged vehicles following manufacturer specifications, ensuring high quality on every job.

The role requires an ATA or NVQ Level 3 and strong communication and safety skills. It offers progression opportunities within a growing UK company and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Experience dismantling and reassembling vehicles to manufacturer specs.
• Good communication and safety awareness.
• Ability to meet manufacturer repair times.

Responsibilities

• Carry out work in line with the estimate.
• Dismantle damaged components and prepare for repair/paint.
• Refit repaired parts and restore vehicle to pre-accident condition.
• Ensure work meets quality standards and timescales.
• Record components, materials and consumables accurately.
• Identify faults and report defects observed.

EVENING SHIFT - MET TECHNICIAN

Evening Shift - Monday - Thursday 12pm - 11.30pm

We're looking for a MET Technician to join our team and play a key role at Activate Accident Repair Tunbridge Wells, dismantling and reassembling accident-damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer specifications and to the high standards our customers expect.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Carrying out the work detailed in the estimate, removing damaged components from the vehicle ready for repair or paint work
• Refitting repaired or replacement components, restoring the vehicle to pre-accident condition
• Delivering the highest standard of quality on every job
• Achieving manufacturer and/or estimated repair times
• Reporting all faults and defects noticed while working on vehicles
• Accurately recording all components, materials and consumables used
