Evri Premium in Sheffield is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the depot operations team and oversee driver coordination. You will ensure documentation is accurate, communicate with drivers and customers, and manage resources to meet service standards.

The role emphasizes health and safety adherence, cost monitoring, and smooth shift handovers. A strong emphasis on leadership and process management is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to delegate where necessary.
• Experience in process management and resource planning.
• Knowledge of resource deployment and operation coordination.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with company IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the depot operations team and conduct driver pre-briefs and de-briefs.
• Ensure all driver and operational documentation is completed and maintained.
• Provide clear communication to drivers and customers via telephone and IT systems.
• Lead and support Operations Controllers, oversee resource planning and handovers.
• Manage transport, courier, and fleet operations to meet service standards.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are followed in line with risk assessments.
• Oversee daily operations and promote operational best practices.
• Plan and allocate operational resources according to workload.
• Monitor costs and investigate claims or discrepancies.
• Handle issues, identify risks, and ensure accurate shift handovers.
