Job summary

Victorious Academies Trust in Hyde is seeking a Cleaner at Discovery Academy. The role involves cleaning designated areas under the Site Manager, following cleaning schedules and health and safety rules to maintain high standards of premises care.

This is a term-time role with a pro-rata salary of £8,395 for 12.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 3:30pm–6:00pm. A DBS check and safeguarding process apply, and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning duties is desirable.
• Must follow Health and Safety procedures including COSHH and Manual Handling.
• DBS check and safeguarding checks are required.
• Probationary period and trust policies apply.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas as allocated by the Site Manager.
• Operate cleaning machinery on soft and hard surfaces.
• Follow cleaning schedules and instructions.
• Carry out cleaning duties with correct PPE and signage.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and attend required training.
