Nova Education Trust's Kirk Hallam Community Academy in Derbyshire is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join a committed site team. The role is 3:30–6:30pm, term-time only (39 weeks), 15 hours per week, with duties after the school day to maintain a clean environment.

The salary is Scale 1 Point 3 (£8,916 actual per year, £13.28 per hour). Applicants must be prepared for an enhanced DBS check in line with safeguarding requirements and will work as part of a supportive school community.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning duties after the school day as part of a team.
• Vacuuming, washroom cleaning, sweeping, mopping and dusting.
• Window cleaning, bin emptying, wiping of furniture.
• Occasional use of electrical cleaning machinery.
