Job summary

BAM Construct UK is seeking a part-time cleaner to join our FM team and be based at Tudor Grange Academy in Redditch. The role runs 40 weeks per year, Monday to Friday from 3.20pm to 5.20pm, performing cleaning tasks to the specified standards and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Experience in cleaning is welcome but not essential; a DBS check will be required. We offer a competitive salary within a forward-looking organisation that values staff development and inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is desired but not essential.
• DBS check required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Clean in accordance with the specification for the premises.
• Clean floors, walls, partitions and internal woodwork as appropriate.
• Clean toilets, changing rooms and other sanitary areas.
• Collect and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Clean and maintain waste bins.
• Refill and replace consumables.
• Report faulty equipment and maintenance needs.
• Lock rooms after cleaning.
• Ensure lights and other equipment are switched off.
• Promote and ensure health and safety of staff and visitors at all times.
