Job summary

Beachborough School is hiring a Day Time Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for students and staff. You will work 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00–14:00, during term time plus 10 additional days.

The role reports to the Housekeeper and involves cleaning toilets, kitchens, and public areas to high standards. Our team values reliability, a strong work ethic, and a professional approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning preferred, especially in schools or public buildings.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and COSHH regulations.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Clean daily toilets and staff kitchens to required standards.
• Replenish toilet rolls, soap, and paper towels daily.
• Clean public areas, sweep/vacuum floors, and remove rubbish daily.
• Wipe furniture, doors, walls, and windowsills; clean insides of windows.
• Report maintenance needs to the Housekeeper; participate in deep cleans during holidays.
