Job summary

Parcelforce is seeking a Postal Delivery Driver (Temporary) in Stoke for a full-time temporary position, paying £15.06 per hour. The role offers up to 35 hours per week with a Monday to Friday schedule and weekend availability.

Shifts run from 16:00 to 20:00. Responsibilities include sorting and loading at the local delivery office, delivering letters and parcels on foot and by vehicle, and using a handheld device for navigation and tracking.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full) with up to 6 points preferred.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous driving or delivering experience is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and sort at the local delivery office and prepare the vehicle for delivery.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and by vehicle, up to 8 miles daily.
• Use a handheld device for navigation, tracking, and signature captures.
• Lift and carry mailbags up to 16 kg and parcels up to 20 kg, using trolleys when needed.
