Job summary

Medteam in the Warwickshire region is recruiting General Practitioners to join its GP OOH service, delivering urgent primary care advice and assessment for evenings and overnights. Shifts are available seven days a week across Coventry, Rugby and Nuneaton, including weekends and bank holidays.

Clinicians can register for flexible hours up to full-time, with an induction programme and ongoing peer support to help you develop as an OOH clinician. UK registration and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Inclusion on Medical Performers List.
• Evidence of working in in- or out-of-hours GP in the last 12 months.
• GP OOH experience or urgent care settings desirable.
• Adastra experience is a strong advantage.
• DBS check (online and updated desirable).

Responsibilities

• Join GP OOH team; predominantly face-to-face evening/overnight shifts.
• Provide urgent primary care assessment and management.
• Induction programme and ongoing peer support.
• Opportunity to tailor hours up to full-time on a contract.
• Develop portfolio career or new clinical challenges.
