Job summary

The Hangar at Watergate Bay Hotel is seeking an independent, lively Office Cleaner to help maintain a welcoming, clean workspace for our Central team. The role starts on a zero-hour basis with an average of 9 hours per week and evening shifts from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with some flexibility as duties settle into three days per week.

You’ll be responsible for keeping offices, toilets and communal areas spotless, with weekly plant care and the opportunity to work autonomously during the winter

Qualifications

• Independent, lively, and attentive Office Cleaner to join our Central team at The Hangar.
• Zero-hour contract with an average commitment of 9 hours per week.
• Role initially Monday to Friday to cover maternity leave, then three days per week.
• Hours are 5:00-8:00 p.m. with some flexibility; fixed days after transition.
• Comfort working independently, especially in winter when location is isolated.
• Ownership of work with autonomy while contributing to a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Keeping offices, toilets, and communal spaces spotless by daily/weekly routines: hoovering, mopping, wiping surfaces, dishwasher upkeep.
• Watering office plants weekly.
