Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a cleaning operative to join our facilities team in central Manchester, delivering high standards of cleanliness for a prestigious law firm client. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 18:30–21:00.

You will clean desks, IT equipment, glass, toilets and shared areas, follow RAMS and COSHH, and work well on your own or with the team. Training and development packages are provided, with welfare support, recognition awards and paid annual leave.

Qualifications

• RAMS and COSHH understanding
• Proficient spoken and written English
• Reliable timekeeping and flexibility
• Ability to own tasks and work independently or in a team
• Maintain high cleaning standards and attention to detail
• Experience in commercial cleaning and DBS checked (OCS) preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean desks, IT equipment and chairs
• Clean glass, signs and displays
• Clean and restock toilets
• Maintain cleaning equipment and storage areas
• Follow waste disposal procedures and safety guidelines
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor or helpdesk
• Ensure high standards and audit readiness
