Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland in Manchester is seeking a part-time Cleaning Operative to keep a prestigious office environment spotless. Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 18:30–21:00, working as part of our client services team for a leading law firm.

You will clean desks, IT equipment, toilets, restaurant and tea areas, report maintenance issues, and uphold RAMS/COSHH standards while delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RAMS and COSHH knowledge required.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Good timekeeping.
• Flexible and pro-active approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining cleanliness throughout designated areas.
• Clean desks, IT equipment and chairs.
• Clean all glass, signs and displays within reach.
• Clean and restock toilets.
• Clean tea bay areas.
• Clean restaurant area.
• Periodical deep cleaning.
• Detailed cleaning: skirting boards, fire extinguishers, etc.
• Remove rubbish and vacuum carpets in offices and meeting rooms.
• Maintain neat appearance of cleaning equipment, storage areas and uniform.
• Return lost and found items to central locations.
• Follow RAMS and COSHH, report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Pass on information relevant to business needs.
