Job summary

Housekeeper role at N Family Club in Hove, East Sussex, part-time 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday evenings. You’ll maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families, handling cleaning tasks, laundry, and stock management while following COSHH and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH guidelines and Health & Safety practices.
• A caring and passionate personality, with a love for working with children and families.
• Experience with hazardous materials and how to use them safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, glass-half-full outlook.

Responsibilities

• Work with the nursery team to keep everything sparkling clean and running smoothly.
• Help make the nursery feel warm and welcoming for children, parents, and visitors.
• Keep bathrooms and changing areas spotless.
• Spot any broken or faulty equipment and let management know so we can fix it fast.
• Stay on top of laundry and ensure we’re stocked with cleaning supplies.
• Water the plants and keep the nursery feeling fresh and bright.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and use products safely in a nursery environment.
• Welcome deliveries and keep items organised.
