Responsibilities

• Welcome and direct all patients and visitors arriving at the GP Out of Hours reception desk
• Handle all reception and administration duties, serving as the primary contact for inquiries and ensuring a professional, respectful service.
• Register patients arriving at the GP Out of Hours (OOH) reception, verifying demographic details, and recording arrivals on Adastra while maintaining strict confidentiality under the Data Protection Act and Access to Health Records Act.
• Ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and oversee patient safety in the waiting room, informing doctors of any status changes
