Job summary

Booker Group operates a distribution centre in Haydock seeking an HGV driver with a Class 1 licence to perform single-drop deliveries to cash & carry and retail partner stores. You will handle paperwork and ensure vehicle readiness at the start and end of shifts.

Shift patterns are evenings/nights with 27–36 hours weekly, including Sundays and Fridays as part of the rota. Paperwork must be completed after each delivery, and candidates must be CPC qualified.

Qualifications

• CPC qualification is required to be considered.
• Class 1 licence held by candidate.
• Experience with temperature controlled deliveries is a plus but not essential.
• Willingness to work evenings/nights and weekends as shifts vary.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to Booker Group stores and partner retailers.
• Complete all delivery paperwork after each drop.
• Ensure vehicle is safe and clean at start and end of shift.
• Work autonomously and as part of the transport team.
