Job summary

Booker Group in Haydock is hiring a part-time Class 1 HGV driver for night shifts. You will perform single-drop deliveries using Class 1 vehicles, 27–36 hours per week over 3 or 4 evenings, with Sundays/Fridays in pattern.

You must hold a valid Class 1 licence and CPC, deliver excellent customer service, and be flexible for short notice changes. No more than 6 points, avoid offences listed in the ad. Company benefits apply.

About the role

• We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Distribution Centre in Haydock as a HGV driver. This NEW opportunity will involve single drop deliveries. Using Class 1 vehicles.
• 
  27 - 36 Hours Per Week over 3 or 4 Evenings/ 1 driving only, No Class 2 times between 17:30 - 19:30Sundays and Fridays will be included in any agreed shift pattern.

You will need

Class 1 Licence Holder

All applicants must be CPC qualified to be considered for this role

Ability to deliver excellent customer service

Experience of temperature controlled food deliveries preferred, but not essential

Routes vary daily and therefore successful applicants will need to be flexible in work and hours of work (including at short notice)

Applicants will not be considered if they have more than 6 points on their licence, 'Careless Driving', prosecution for mobile phone use or drink driving or have failed to comply with 'Construction of Use'.
