Zoetis in Leeds seeks a reliable Courier Driver to manage an evening route, delivering and collecting medical samples across the region. The role operates from 6pm to 2am with about 30 stops per night, offering a unique, permanent position within our logistics team.

The successful candidate will drive safely, maintain logs via a mobile app, conduct vehicle checks, and consistently meet sample-handling requirements while upholding Zoetis standards.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence – a maximum of 3 points.
• Previous experience in commercial driving is ideal, handling medical samples is advantageous.
• Experience of evening / night work is advantageous.
• Professional, courteous, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and great attention to detail.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Attention to detail, as any mistakes can lead to delayed patient care.

Responsabilités

• Drive safely and professionally, representing VPG’s reputation.
• Collect medical samples on time.
• Ensure all sample bags are sealed and stored correctly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and sort samples efficiently via an mobile phone app.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance policies (including manual handling and COSHH regulations).
