Job summary

Zoetis UK is hiring a Courier Driver for our Leeds team on an evening route from 6pm to 2am. The permanent role involves around 30 stops per night and requires careful handling of medical samples and tight schedule management.

You'll drive safely, collect samples on time, log deliveries in our mobile app, conduct vehicle checks, and comply with COSHH and safety policies. UK driving licence with up to 3 points is required.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence – a maximum of 3 points.
• Previous experience in commercial driving is ideal, handling medical samples is advantageous.
• Experience of evening / night work is advantageous.
• Professional, courteous, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative and great attention to detail.

Position: Courier Driver

VPG, part of Zoetis, provides veterinary pathology services, supporting animal health across the UK & Ireland. As part of our logistics team, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring timely sample collection and delivery.

We’re looking for a reliable Courier Driver to join our Leeds team, operating an evening route. This is a permanent role working from 6pm to 2am (no daytime work is available).

Unlike standard multi-drop courier roles, our routes typically involve on average 30 stops per night, making this a unique and rewarding opportunity. You'll be provided with:

Your Responsibilities

• Drive safely and professionally, representing VPG’s reputation.
• Collect medical samples on time.
• Ensure all sample bags are sealed and stored correctly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and sort samples efficiently via an mobile phone app.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance policies (including manual handling and COSHH regulations).

What We’re Looking For

• Valid UK Driving Licence – a maximum of 3 points.
