Job summary

VPG, part of Zoetis, is seeking a Courier Driver to join our Leeds team, covering an evening route from 6pm to 2am. This is a permanent, full-time role focused on timely sample collection and delivery across the UK & Ireland.

As a Courier Driver you will handle around 30 stops per night, maintain logs on a mobile app, perform daily vehicle checks and ensure safe, compliant transport of samples while upholding VPG's reputation for quality and care.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Driving Licence with max 3 points.
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred.
• Experience of evening/night work is advantageous.
• Professional, courteous communication is essential.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Careful attention to detail to avoid delays in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Drive safely and professionally, representing VPG's reputation.
• Collect medical samples on time.
• Ensure all sample bags are sealed and stored correctly during transit.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and sort samples efficiently via an mobile phone app.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues.
• Keep the vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.
• Adhere to all safety and compliance policies (including manual handling and COSHH regulations).
