Job summary

THE NICI Collection is seeking a dedicated Evening Public Areas & Turn Down Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at our luxury hotel in Lymington. You will help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the property.

Working as part of the evening Housekeeping team, you will ensure public areas stay beautifully presented after dark and deliver a high-quality turn-down service for our guests, while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent attention to detail.
• High standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Reliable, hardworking, and professional.
• Friendly and confident when interacting with guests.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel reception areas, lounges, corridors, staircases, lifts, guest toilets, and other public areas.
• Complete regular checks throughout the evening to ensure public areas remain clean and well presented.
• Carry out guest bedroom turn-down service to a high standard.
• Prepare guest bedrooms for the evening, including turning down beds and closing curtains.
• Replenish towels, amenities, and guest supplies where required.
• Ensure all areas are presented to luxury hospitality standards.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Report maintenance issues, damage, or anything requiring attention promptly.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and housekeeping areas to a high standard.
• Support the wider Housekeeping team when required.
