Job summary

Nviro is seeking a Library Cleaner to help create clean, hygienic and safe environments at Banstead Library and Banstead Youth Centre. This part-time role totals 18.5 hours weekly, with after-hours shifts across two sites in Banstead.

You will clean reading areas, desks, offices, kitchens and toilets, following schedules and safety procedures. We welcome reliable individuals, whether experienced or new to the industry, and provide full training, ongoing support, and uniform, cleaning products

Responsibilities

• Cleaning library areas including reading spaces, desks, offices, kitchens, and toilets.
• Dusting shelves, wiping surfaces, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
• Emptying bins and replenishing supplies.
• Following clear cleaning schedules, procedures and checklists.
• Working safely and respectfully within a public-facing community building.
