Job summary

The post of Domestic Assistant at Ysbyty Gwynedd is a part-time role (15 hours per week) working on a rota from 17:00 to 20:00. You will be responsible for cleaning and related duties across wards, departments, and public and staff areas.

There is a 4–6 week induction with on-the-job training covering cleaning procedures, health and safety, and COSHH. Welsh language ability is desirable; Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply.

• Able to organise and prioritise own workload.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Demonstrates care, compassion, competence and good communication.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Receptive to supervision.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning and related duties in wards, departments and public and staff areas.
