Job summary

We Manage Jobs(WMJobs) is recruiting Home Care Assistants for 26.25 hours per week on late shifts (2.30pm-10.30pm) in the Dudley area. The role is permanent, based at Brierley Hill Health and Social Care Centre or other Dudley borough locations, and involves supporting vulnerable adults at home with dignity and independence.

Induction includes mandatory training; you may need to travel within the Dudley borough and hold a valid driving licence.

Qualifications

• Passionate and caring individuals to support vulnerable adults in the community.
• Ability to work with service users to plan and provide person-centred care.
• Good verbal and written communication with accurate recording skills.
• Willingness to undertake mandatory training during induction.
• Flexible approach to travel across the Dudley borough and hold a driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not offered. DBS check to be completed.

Responsibilities

• Support people in crisis or ill health following hospital discharge and arrange appropriate care at home.
• Plan and deliver high-quality, person-centred care with dignity and respect.
• Assist with physical and personal care needs and administer medications if required.
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintain accurate records.
• Work as part of a team and be flexible to rota patterns, including weekends and bank holidays.
